YIP unit of NWC, on February 22, 2022, conducted an orientation session for introducing the Young Innovators Programme, the flagship of the Kerala Development & Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISK).
The objective of the session was to identify the students with bright minds for solving real life problems, mentoring them, attaching them to research institutions/ partner institutions with scholarships for one year and help them build a career around the innovations, researching, re-discovering, incubating and accelerating the innovation.
Dr. Lieutenant Commander CK Abdul Rabbi Nistar, the principal, NWC, inaugurated the programme, which was co-ordinated by Mr. Basheer, faculty member, department of English.
The resources person, Mr. Mohamed Nabeel VP, District Programme, Executive, Kdisc, Malappuram, handled the main session, which included a forty-minute presentation, followed by a twenty-minute Q & A.
