OBC and Minority Cell

The OBC (Other Backward Classes) & Minority Cell in colleges is a group within the college dedicated to supporting and taking care of students, faculty, and staff who come from Other Backward Classes and minority communities.

1. Implementing Welfare Programs: They make sure that the government programs and initiatives designed to help students from OBC and minority backgrounds are effectively put into action. This includes making sure students know about financial aid and resources available to them.

2. Support Services: They provide guidance, counseling, and other support services to students, faculty, and staff from OBC and minority backgrounds. This could include help with academics, career advice, and addressing any issues they may face in college.

3. Awareness and Sensitization Programs: They organize events and campaigns within the college to educate people about the rights, challenges, and issues faced by individuals from OBC and minority communities. The goal is to promote inclusivity and understanding.

4. Financial Assistance: They help students from OBC and minority backgrounds access scholarships, grants, and financial aid that are specifically designed for them. This ensures they have equal opportunities to pursue their education.
