THE RESEARCH FORUM
The prime goal of the Research Forum is to promote research-related activities for the benefit of the educational society at large. Research Forum also provides an opportunity to faculties and research scholars to present and discuss their research work. The Research Forum working in the college is a common platform to coordinate the academic and research initiatives of the students, research scholars and teachers. The functioning of the forum is controlled by an executive committee with representatives from all departments. The primary objective of the forum is to create linkages through inter-personal and inter-departmental collaborations to enhance the quality of learning environment of our college. The forum undertakes various events and activities like invited talks by eminent personalities/researchers, studies on issues that have social relevance and policy implications, academic publications, periodical presentations, organization of academic fests/competitions etc.
Objectives
• Inculcate a scientific aptitude among its stakeholders especially students and faculties
• Promote and create a research environment among the beneficiaries of the institution
• Plan, organize and coordinate all research efforts in the institution.
• To promote multidisciplinary research
• Enhancement of knowledge regarding the research ethics and intellectual property rights properly
• Promote collaboration including Memorandum of Understanding with reputed research institution within Kerala
• Promote collaborative research with state level and national level academic and research institutions.
• Promotion of research publication in prestigious international and national journals, with focus on the UGC care list and Scopus index
• Publicize popular writing in order to educate and inform public
• Collaborate with a national publication to create a multidisciplinary research publication
• Explore and inform scholars about potential research opportunities available from various academic, research, industrial and government institution.
