The English Department's association inauguration program, "Empyrean", took place on March 25, 2024, Monda at 11:00 am, at the college auditorium. The event witnessed the presence of the entire student body of the English department, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the occasion.
The inauguration was graced by Ms. Ameena Jahan, Principal of NOBLE Public School, who brought a wealth of experience and wisdom to the event. The gathering was warmly welcomed by Ms. Nahal, the Association Secretary (2nd year BA English), setting the tone for the rest of the program.
Following the welcome address, Ms. Shameema K., the Head of the Department, shared insightful remarks, setting the stage for the significance of the association and its endeavors. Dr. U Saidalvi, the college principal, delivered a presidential address, emphasizing the importance of fostering English language skills in today's globalized world.
Ms. Ameena Jahan then officially inaugurated the Empyrean program, eloquently detailing the profound significance of English in education and beyond. The program was further enriched by the felicitation ceremony led by Shahma, the Union Chairperson, and Ms. Fasna, the 3rd DC representative, who acknowledged the efforts and aspirations of the association.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Nada Jahan, a 2nd-year MA English student, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the inauguration.
