Women Development Cell

The Woman Development Cell is functioning in the college to empower the women folk in the campus and to sort out the problems of women facing in the society and in campus. The Cell aims at addressing the gender related problems organizing various programmes on gender sensitivity. Other aims and objectives include giving career guidance to girls, functioning of a counselling centre, conducting health awareness classes, arranging classes about community living, conducting seminars on issues related to gender and workshops for skill development in association with organizations like Human Resource Department and Centres for Women Studies attached to different Universities.

VISION

Moulding and enlightening the young female minds and pave their way to grow into balanced and better human beings.

MISSION

● To encourage female students to be self-reliant and economically independent.
● Spread awareness among the students about the social, legal, and constitutional rights of women to prevent exploitation based on gender.
● To instill positive self-esteem and confidence in the female students.
● Make students cognizant of different kinds of violence such as sexual, physical, and mental, and equip them with the knowledge and strength to fight against them.
