The PG Department of Computer Science in association with IQAC organized a Tree Planting Programme on 06th June 2022 for lower primary students in AMLP School Pullancheri, Manjeri as part of department extension programme. The program conducted for providing awareness about importance of environment through planting trees on behalf of World Environment Day.
The students from second year BCA & second year M Sc (CS), of our college conducted the activities such as tree planting, awareness session on importance of protecting environment etc. under the guidance of the department. The Programme began with the welcome address by Manoj Kumar N, Head master of AMLP School Pullancheri. The programme inaugurated by Ward Councillor Sameena Teacher. Second year BCA representative Ms. Sameeda addressed the audience. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Ishaque K. The vote of thanks was registered by school manager TMA Rahman. Ms. Jisna NT, Mrs. Anushida K Sunny, Mrs. Swapna K, Ms. Sruthi M and Mr. Rahul P were also present in the programme. The programme was successful with more than 130 participants comprising of school students.
