The Moral Studies Committee in Association with the Department of Oriental Languages conducted a session on value-based education as part of Lecture series on 22 nd December 2022, 1:45 pm at the College Auditorium. The session titled “ Importance of  Holistic Learning in New Educational Scenario" was handled by Dr Ali jafar.ch (Assistant professor, Head, Department of Arabic , Amal college of Advanced studies Nilambur ).

The session began at 1:45 pm with a prayer by Husna ( 2nd BA sociology).The  welcome address delivered by Ms Fathima Ranna ( 2nd BSC Psychology). Ms. Raihanath Paramban (Co-ordinator, Moral Studies Committee & HOD,Department of Arabic)presided over the function. The  honorable principal, Dr. U Saidalvi, inaugurated the function. His speech signified the need of cultivating values, virtues and beliefs on which a better society can thrive. The felicitation was delivered by Mr. Madhusoodanan (HOD, Department of Hindi) and Ms. Fabeena (HOD, Department of Malayalam)and Ms  Sameeda ( Union chairperson) . The program was anchored by Ms Muhsina ( 2nd bsc psychology).The vote of thanks was delivered by Linsha (2nd BSC Psychology). The programme was officially concluded at 3.30 pm. The success of the event was marked by the active participation of students from various departments.
