The PG department of English in association with Noblit Literary Club conducted a poetry recitation competition on the theme "Indian Independence" on 11/08/2022 at the seminar hall. The programme started with a patriotic song by the students of fifth semester, BA English. Students from UG and PG actively participated in the poetry recitation competition. 1st place was secured by Khanitha NK of 3rd BA English, second place was secured by Shibila of 2nd MA English and third place by Salwa Najeeb of 3rd BA English. The judges were Mr.Madhusuthanan ( Faculty of Hindi Language), Ms Febina ( Faculty of Malayalam Language) and Mr.Basheer Thenjeri ( Faculty of English Language). The competition was successfully completed with a joyful experience.
