Department of Sociology and IQAC jointly celebrated the World Social Work Day With "Shalom Matha Bhavan".In the program students interacted with the inmates and distributed lunch meals.This was part of our out reach programme and students gained experience with the different sections of society. This programme was great success with experience sharing of inmates and cultural activities presntation of students.The whole programme was lead by Department students.The institution in charge Sister Teresina welcomed the students and teachers.Sociology Department HOD Dr. ABDUSSALAM. M. P,Mr.Sadique CP.Miss Pavithra Gayathri.KV Assistant professors also accompanied the students.A total of twenty five students were participated the programme.

We heartly thank all those who have supported us in making this event a huge success. We also have received great feedback from the participants.
